As we all know sex is constantly being popularized and yet made to look glamorous and appealing by the media and Hollywood with its many forms. Sex is constantly being pushed in people’s faces through almost every avenue from seemingly innocent movies to obviously pornographic films to even so-called “Christian” movies, Hollywood tries to promote pre-marital sex as something pleasurable and inviting.
Having a new boyfriend in a love relationship every month is just another part of being “in fashion”. Engaging freely in sex and regularly partaking in one-night stands is all just following the modern culture of easy virtue.
But Hollywood apparently forgets that multiple sexual partners that come from who knows where and has who knows what will eventually sooner or later lead to infection of STD, with HIV and ultimately AIDS of which there is no cure.
And it won’t stop there. Most reveal that they started doing the sexual things they were doing after a certain thought entered their minds. Usually the person thinks it is just their own thought and keeps thinking about it; and before long the person’s thoughts are now filled with those similar thoughts, and many times they are worse.
The person may want to stop thinking these thoughts but he or she cannot. They no longer are able to control the sexual thoughts they think as they could earlier. Sometimes the person may think he or she is becoming bereft of reason. Sexual PornographySexual Pornography is one of the major things that many Americans especially men struggle with. As it is highly addictive, many times it is hard for many to quit and once they do, like nicotine, they have to fight to stay free. This is a thing that affects even Christians. “Even Christians that go to church.” Yes, even Christians that go to church three times a week and pay their tithes. The devil will try to attack anyone he can who is weak enough to listen and give into him. And it all starts with one little thought or one seemingly harmless magazine or movie.
Child Sex PornographyOne of the main causes for child rape is that the person who committed the act has been previously looking at child pornographic sexual material on the Internet or elsewhere. It is very likely that the person when he first started to look at such sexual material, didn’t intend for it to go so far as it did. But as it is said, “You never know where the wrong decision will take you.”
From all this some people will gather that sex is a wrong decision, but it is not.
Pre-Marital Sex, Extra-Marital SexAnother big issue in America is premarital sex and adultery, they are very popular sexual issues in the world today. It is one of the main causes of AIDS in America. All because people want immediate sexual gratification and enjoyment of sex outside of safe sex rules.
